SC11 Wednesday Recap
Wednesday was yet another action packed day!
Its amazing how many vendors and tech sessions David can take in and absorb.
Jeff's day was composed of two 1.5 hour XSEDE meetings with a short lunch break between. The first was our year end Campus Champion Leadership meeting to discuss successes of the program this year and to recommend milestones and timelines for next year. Additionally, we had the opportunity to meet some of the new XSEDE staff members with whom we will be working with going forward. The second was a meeting of the general CC group...very well attended which was a bit surprising due to the plethora of options available to the attendees. The group was briefed by the leadership and advisory members on matters such as the CC Fellowship Program and the Campus Bridging project as well as the plan for moving forward from the previous meeting.
David, Dana Brunson (OSU), and Jeff caught up with one another to attend an NDA meeting with Intel in the afternoon which was very informative!
Jeff will lead one session Thursday, then he and David are Fayetteville bound as they have system maintenance to tend to on Friday morning!
