Star of Arkansas Supports Newly Awarded NSF CAREER Researcher
Congratulations to Dr. Doug Spearot of the Mechanical Engineering Department at
the University of Arkansas for receiving the NSF CAREER award. This is
considered the most prestigious award in support of early career
development activities. The award is given to researchers deemed most
likely to become the academic leaders of the 21st Century.
Spearot's research is supported by the Star of Arkansas under NSF Grant MRI #0722625. Spearot is also the Faculty Campus Champion Lead for the CI-TRAIN project, NSF Grant #0918070.
